The Evansville Regional Sports Commission is a 501(c)3 Not-for-Profit dedicated to enhancing the image, economy and quality of life of the greater Evansville region through the attraction, creation and promotion of high profile sporting events.  Evansville takes pride in providing a memorable championship atmosphere for all events, big or small. Our devoted volunteer base, great venues and central location make hosting an event in Evansville a pleasant experience and one that athletes and spectators won’t soon forget.

The Evansville Regional Sports Commission is proud to be the host of the 2023 NCAA DII Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Midwest Regional Championship.
Angel Mounds, a historic Native American community inhabited more than 1,000 years ago, will be the host for the championship.

TICKETS:
All tickets will be sold at the gate on race day. Ticket prices are as follows:
–$10 for adult
–$5 for students
–Free admission for ages 5-and-under

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Course available for practice – Weather Permitting

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Course available for practice – Weather Permitting
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Packet pick-up
Location:  Angel Mounds Interpretive Center, 8215 Pollack Avenue, Evansville, IN 47715
3:45 p.m. – Mandatory coaches meeting
Location:  Angel Mounds Interpretive Center (Located at Course)

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4
7:00 a.m. – Course opens to competitors
In case of any inclement weather or course conditions, email notifications will be sent to head coaches

WOMEN’S 6,000-METER RACE:
8:40 a.m. – Women’s competitors clerking procedure begins
(80 minutes prior to start)
9:20 a.m. – National Anthem
9:40 a.m. – Women’s competitors called to the start line (approximately 20 minutes to start)
9:50 a.m. – Second call to the start line (10 minutes to start)
9:55 a.m. – Start line is cleared of all non-competitors (5 minutes to start)
9:58 a.m. – Runners at the start line for instructions
10:00 a.m. – Start of women’s 6,000-meter race

MEN’S 10,000-METER RACE:
9:45 a.m. – Men’s competitors clerking procedure begins
(80 minutes prior to start)
10:55 a.m. – Men’s competitors called to the start line (approximately 20 minutes to start)
11:05 a.m. – Second call to the start line (10 minutes to start)
11:10 a.m. – Start line is cleared of all non-competitors (5 minutes to start)
11:13 a.m. – Runners at the start line for instructions
11:15 a.m. – Start of men’s 10,000-meter race

Immediately after the second race, recognition of top runners and teams.

Advanced Ticket Pricing:
Lower Reserved – $20
General Admission – $10

Online ticket sales close at 3:00 pm cst the night before each game. Tickets can still be purchased at the field after 3:00 pm cst.

*Tickets for children age 5 & under are free. Ticket refunds will be provided if the game is cancelled due to inclement weather.
