The Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic is an Evansville Sports Corporation owned and operated event in cooperation with the University of Southern Indiana and the Ford Center.  It features six of the best NCAA Division II teams in the country in a two-day event that in 2016 had Saturday games televised on the ESPN Network.  The event also features the induction of some of the legends of the game into the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame.  This past year, Jerry Sloan, Earl ‘The Pearl’ Monroe, Dr. Dick Barnett and Phil Jackson were just a few of the basketball greats that were honored.
