Evansville Sports Corporation Impact
Events the ESC has secured, managed and created have had an EEI on Southwest Indiana in the amount of $10,100,000. ESC events bring in visitors to the community who spend money on hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and attractions to name a few.
Evansville Sports Corporation events have been televised in more than 10 million homes in 193 countries total. This upcoming Spring 2016, ESC events will be televised on CBS, The Big 10 Network and the Golf Channel all in a matter of five weeks!
The ESC is dedicated to providing opportunities for local kids to engage and participate in the events we host. Youth Clinics coordinated by the ESC during events like the NCAA Division II Men’s Elite Eight and the PGA Web.com Tour events have allowed more than 1,100 local kids to meet and learn from the best.
The Old National Bank Golf Gives Back Program, which is part of the the PGA Web.com Tour event, has generated $602,000 for local charities in just three years. The Riverside Relay Marathon generated $13,000 for local charities, in 2015. Finding a way for our regional charities to benefit from the events the ESC secures for the community is something that is extremely important.
